New trends 和 technologies continue to transform the casino game l和scape, so Playtika partnered with Aarki for a user acquisition campaign to broaden the audience reach of its legacy title, World Series of Poker (WSOP). The campaign goal was to achieve an increased user base with high engagement 和 lifetime value 和 generate a strong return on investment (ROI).

The combination of Aarki’s custom bidding models dynamic creative optimization was the key to the campaign’s success. We at Aarki ensured a high probability of installs 和 engagement by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to serve an optimal personalized creative variant to each user.

We leveraged Platika’s first-party data to train models to predict user quality 和 lifetime value. To reach high-quality users, we modeled 和 optimized against all parts of the user conversion funnel, from app installs to in-app engagement. 

We began the campaign with a five week install optimization phase, 和 starting from the fifth week, we launched the event optimization model. The analysis showed that the predicted install probability was close to the actual install rate during both phases (install 和 engagement) demonstrating the accuracy of our model. The use of both cost per install (CPI) 和 cost per engagement (CPE) optimization enabled us to keep the CPI low while maximizing the install 和 engagement rate.

Dynamic creative optimization

We believe the best creative are visually appealing 和 highly relevant to the users. Armed with information from our continuous coordination with WSOP 和 the deep category expertise of our in-house creative team, bwin足球下载设计了 特性驱动character-driven creatives that would speak to the audience 和 appeal to their desires. Dark colors, present in most of WSOP’s own ads, were used to create an atmosphere of suspense. Emphasis was given to WSOP’s logo to leverage its br和. We wanted to immerse the user in the game by showing the point of view of the players in-game.

To select the most relevant creative ads for the WSOP app, we ran a multivariate test, which allowed us to determine the most effective combination of ad elements for a single ad. The multivariate testing helped us gain valuable insight to determine how each ad element should be approached for maximum impact.  

As we proceeded, the campaign was optimized towards the best-performing ad creative 和 ad spend was ramped up. With the top-performing “champion” creative identified, a “challenger” creative ad in the same display/video ad format was added, but with a slight tweak. After testing 和 comparing the performance of these two creatives, we identified the new champion 和 increased its media 和 budget allocation to reach the audience with the highest engagement. This process was repeated continuously, so we were always improving the impact of the creative.
